Singapore hosts light trail for Mid-Autumn Festival — Channel NewsAsia
Singapore’s Science Centre is running the Celestial Nights programme until September 27 as part of the Mid-Autumn Festival celebrations. Visitors can access a free illuminated night trail and stargazing, as well as paid entertainment activities, Channel NewsAsia reports.
Trail to the Japanese Garden
The light trail can be explored independently: it connects Science Centre Singapore with the Japanese Garden. Visitors can begin the route near the Metamorphosis installation or the Water Lily Pavilion in the Japanese Garden and walk past illuminated displays depicting celestial bodies of the Solar System.
Free stargazing is also available at the Water Lily Pavilion. At the time of publication, tickets for the night trail could be obtained free of charge for September 25 and 26. For an additional 4 Singapore dollars, visitors can watch the digital planetarium programme Moon Legends: From Myth To Mission, dedicated to Chinese legends and modern exploration of the Moon.
