In the US, an Amazon-operated plane likely overran the runway in Miami

At Miami International Airport in the United States, a 767 aircraft reportedly operated by Amazon overran the runway. Smoke was visible near the runway after the incident, Anadolu Agency reports.

Flight restrictions

The US Federal Aviation Administration (FAA) temporarily suspended the acceptance of flights headed to Miami International Airport. The agency explained the restrictions by the presence of an aircraft that could not move, as well as restrictions on the runway and taxiways.

All departures of flights with Miami Airport as their destination were delayed at least until 15:00 local time, or 19:00 GMT.
