Trump's administration is preparing an embargo on certain goods from Spain

The administration of U.S. President Donald Trump is preparing a list of goods from Spain that could be subject to a trade embargo, according to Western media reports.

According to journalists, the U.S. side is already compiling a list of products that could potentially be subject to new restrictions. The reasons for the possible decision and the list of goods have not yet been officially disclosed.

According to a U.S. official, the Treasury Department will work with the U.S. Trade Representative and the Department of Commerce to provide Trump with “a list of Spanish goods that could be subject to an embargo in the coming days.”

Such a move could potentially undermine the trade agreement the U.S. signed with the European Union last year.

One U.S. official noted that an embargo or a sharp increase in tariffs would take most of the business community by surprise.

This was reported by the U.S. official in a letter reviewed by Politico.

Trump spoke of his good relations with Zelenskyy.

U.S. President Donald Trump said he is ready to visit Ukraine “at the appropriate time,” but believes it would be best to do so after the end of the Russian-Ukrainian war.

The meeting between the presidents of Ukraine and the U.S. took place on the sidelines of the NATO summit. Among the main topics of discussion were strengthening Ukraine’s air defense, supplying missiles for the Patriot systems, as well as continued military support for Ukraine and exploring ways to achieve peace. Donald Trump made these remarks during a meeting with Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelenskyy on the sidelines of the NATO summit.
