An explosion occurred at a restaurant in central Moscow; there are fatalities and injuries

An explosion occurred at the Balzi Rossi restaurant on Kudrinskaya Square in central Moscow, after which a fire broke out in the building. According to Russian media reports, three people were killed and at least 15 others were injured.

Russian media also report that military officials may have been present at the restaurant, though there is currently no official confirmation of this information.

The OSINT project Astra stated that the restaurant was closed today for a private banquet.

Analysts also claim that the café was hosting a birthday celebration for an unnamed general—there were many cars with black license plates near the restaurant, which are typically used by Russian security forces.

Dozens of ambulances and emergency response vehicles arrived at the scene of the explosion.

Russian media are reporting three dead and at least 17 injured. Propaganda outlets also claim that the explosion was allegedly caused by a gas leak.

This is being reported by Russian propaganda media.

Moscow and Minsk refused to exchange a journalist-spy for prisoners of war.

On January 27, the SBU and the Main Intelligence Directorate (GUR) released information about the arrest of a Belarusian KGB spy who was attempting to infiltrate Ukrainian intelligence. The 35-year-old agent was detained in Kyiv and has been charged with espionage.

Belarusian citizen Inna Kardash, who was exposed for collaborating with the State Security Committee (KGB) of the Republic of Belarus, worked at the Coordination Headquarters for the Treatment of Prisoners of War under the Main Intelligence Directorate.
