An explosion occurred at a defense plant in Tula; there are fatalities

An explosion occurred at the A+A factory in the Russian city of Tula, where weapons, ammunition, and self-defense equipment are manufactured. This was reported by the local publication Myslo, citing the Ministry of Emergency Situations.

According to preliminary data, three people were killed as a result of the incident.

A fire broke out at the facility following the explosion, covering an area of approximately 250 square meters. Rescue workers managed to fully extinguish the fire within a few hours.

At this time, there is no official information on what exactly caused the explosion at the plant. The circumstances of the incident are under investigation.

The A+A plant specializes in the production of weapons and ammunition, as well as self-defense products, so the incident on its premises attracted significant attention from local media and emergency services.

On the night of June 4, a series of explosions rocked the temporarily occupied Crimea. The explosions were recorded in the Sevastopol and Simferopol areas and near key military airfields on the peninsula.
