In Warsaw, a girl had her two front teeth knocked out because of her Ukrainian accent
A conflict broke out in Warsaw during which a teenage girl lost her two front teeth. According to her mother, a group of teenagers was relaxing in the park when some Polish men over the age of 30 approached them and asked for cigarettes.
After hearing the girl’s Ukrainian accent, an argument allegedly broke out between them. One of the women took the teenager’s phone and struck her in the face. The victim’s mother reported the incident to the police, but the attackers have not yet been identified.
In Wrocław, unknown assailants brutally beat a Ukrainian couple because of their accent.
As a reminder, Poland is incorporating Ukraine’s combat experience into the modernization of its army.
On May 21, a new 60-day extension of temporary restrictions on applying for international protection at the border with Belarus took effect in Poland. These restrictions limit migrants’ right to apply for international protection while crossing the Polish-Belarusian border. The country’s authorities have once again extended these measures.
