BTS member Jimin met with a young fan who is undergoing treatment for cancer
During a concert in Arlington, Texas, BTS member Jimin met with a young fan named Olivia, who is undergoing treatment for cancer. Videos of the encounter went viral on social media, according to the Korea Herald.
BTS performed in Arlington as part of their “Arirang” world tour. Among the audience were children supported by the Texas-based nonprofit Heroes for Children, which provides assistance to families of children battling cancer.

In the videos circulating online, Jimin can be seen stepping off the stage and approaching Olivia. He gave her a keychain, gently patted her on the head, hugged her, and kissed her on the cheek. The girl was thrilled by the encounter and repeated several times that she had received a kiss.
On Monday, Heroes for Children thanked BTS on social media for hugging Olivia, calling it a memory she’ll never forget. Fans of the group in various countries also sent the girl their best wishes for a full recovery. The North American leg of BTS’s tour will continue with concerts in Toronto, Chicago, and Los Angeles.
