"MasterChef" contestant Roman Nyavka spoke about his problems with the Jobcenter in Germany
Roman, a Ukrainian blogger and contestant on the show “MasterChef” known by the nickname Nyavka, moved to Germany. There, he encountered problems at the Jobcenter and stated that, in his opinion, Ukrainians might have complained about his activities.
At the same time, the blogger believes that those who criticize him have not achieved the desired result.
According to Nyavka, the German government agency asked him to provide statements from all his bank accounts, as well as information about his income from blogging.
The blogger speculated that a complaint from Ukrainians might have been the reason.
“Most likely, someone filed a complaint against me with the Jobcenter. I think so because they asked me to provide statements from all my accounts and details of my earnings from TikTok,” Roman noted.
According to him, the situation has also been accompanied by threats regarding the possible suspension or shutdown of his TikTok account.
“I’ve received many threats that they’ll shut down my TikTok account and report me to the Job Center. Our people are everywhere. My ‘well-wishers’ did their best—good job. But you missed one thing: I don’t earn anything from TikTok,” the blogger emphasized.
Roman Nyavka moved to Germany in early May 2026.
According to him, the main reason for the move was his desire to live a more peaceful life and not be constantly stressed out by the war.
Currently, the blogger continues to maintain his social media accounts and tells his followers about his life in Germany, particularly about his experience with the Jobcenter.

In a new TikTok video, Roman explained that the Jobcenter requested a significant number of documents from him to verify his employment and income.
As a reminder, on August 28, Polish authorities announced that they do not plan to increase child benefits under the “800 Plus” program in the coming years. The government may revisit the issue of increasing benefits no earlier than 2028, and Ukrainian refugees may also be eligible for the program under the established conditions.
