Hungary has blocked the opening of two clusters for Ukraine until September
The opening of negotiation clusters 2 and 3 for Ukraine has been postponed until September due to Hungary’s position. This was reported by “European Truth” in its digest of international events for July 22.
The publication also reported that the British defense company BAE Systems and its strategic defense partner in Ukraine signed a licensing agreement for the local production of Light Gun L119 artillery systems. EU ambassadors separately agreed to the UK’s participation in supporting Ukraine’s defense needs through the €90 billion Ukraine Support Loan financial assistance program.
Among other news of the day: the Baltic states plan to create joint reserves of energy equipment in case of emergencies. The German military is helping Poland strengthen its border with Russia, the aggressor state.
