Ukraine will participate in Expo 2027 in Belgrade
The Cabinet of Ministers endorsed the proposal for Ukraine’s participation in the “Expo 2027” World Specialized Exhibition. The event will take place in Belgrade, Serbia, and the initiative was submitted by the Ministry of Economy and Environment and the Ministry of Culture.
Deputy Prime Minister for Humanitarian Policy and Minister of Culture Tetiana Berezhna has been appointed General Commissioner of Ukraine’s national pavilion at the exhibition. She is to sign a contract with the exhibition’s organizer regarding Ukraine’s participation.
The Ministry of Economy and Environment will coordinate the work of central executive bodies, enterprises, institutions, and organizations regarding Ukraine’s preparation for and participation in “Expo 2027.” Expenses related to the country’s participation in the exhibition are planned to be covered by funds from the organizer, donor and sponsorship funds, charitable contributions, and other sources not prohibited by law.
The Ministry of Foreign Affairs is to inform the Government of the Republic of Serbia through diplomatic channels of the appointment of the general commissioner of Ukraine’s national section and to submit the participation agreement.

As a reminder, Zelenskyy announced the testing of new weapons designed to intercept drones.
Prior to this, the Verkhovna Rada did not support redirecting export proceeds from weapons sales to meet the army’s needs.
Meanwhile, a secret unit is operating in Germany to expedite weapons purchases for Ukraine.
