Ukrainians in Poland achieve greater financial independence and buy their own homes

The financial independence of Ukrainians in Poland has reached its highest level in the past three years: most no longer rely on social welfare or charitable aid and fully support themselves, while money transfers to their homeland are declining. These findings come from a large-scale study conducted by the National Bank of Poland (NBP).

The research shows that Ukrainians in Poland are not only reducing remittances home but also actively investing in their own housing, indicating deeper integration into the Polish economy and an improved standard of living.

This trend is expected to promote further stabilization and growth of the Ukrainian diaspora in Poland and alter the dynamics of financial flows between the two countries.
