Trump Mocks Canada Over Wildfire Smoke and Shows AI-Generated Image of a Wall — The Independent
U.S. President Donald Trump posted an AI-generated image on his social media account depicting a giant “air filter” along the U.S.-Canada border.
In the published illustration, the structure resembles the wall on the U.S.-Mexico border, which was one of the key promises of Trump’s 2016 election campaign. A sign next to the structure reads “North American Air Filter” and features the slogan: “Clean Air. Clean Borders.”
At the same time, as The Independent notes, the image contains an obvious inconsistency: on both sides of the “filter,” the sky is equally clear and blue with white clouds, making the structure appear as if it serves no purpose.
The publication speculates that this may be the result of an error during the image’s generation by artificial intelligence.
The article appeared amid Trump’s recent threats to impose new tariffs on Canada. As of now, there has been no official response from the Canadian side to the U.S. president’s post.
