Man suspected of axe attack on three people sought in Australia

Incident circumstances
As ABC News Australia reports, law enforcement officers were called to an address on Cowes Road in Tyers at around 12:30. According to police, a man known to the victims allegedly attacked an elderly man, an elderly woman and another man.
After the incident, the victims were able to call emergency services. The elderly man and the second man are expected to be transported by air to a hospital in Melbourne; police said their injuries are life-threatening. The elderly woman was taken to hospital with critical injuries.
