Two teenagers detained in Australia over alleged attack on centre worker in Adelaide
In Australia, police detained two teenagers aged 15 and 17 on suspicion of attacking a staff member at the Adelaide Youth Training Centre in Adelaide. According to ABC News, the incident occurred on Sunday evening at the facility located in Cavan.
Police actions
South Australia Police said that STAR Group officers arrived at the centre. According to law enforcement, the teenagers barricaded themselves in a room and were armed with items police described as improvised weapons.
Police said the boys allegedly attacked a youth justice officer and caused significant damage in one part of the centre. The staff member who was attacked sustained minor injuries.

Charges
Police were first called at about 20:00. At around 21:55, STAR Group officers entered the room where, according to police, the teenagers had barricaded themselves and detained them without further incident.
The teenagers were charged with aggravated assault, property damage and aggravated affray. They are expected to appear before the Adelaide Youth Court.
