In the Kiviõli hunting grounds in Ida-Viru County, Estonia, a hunter filmed a lynx and a moose that appeared in the same open field within a short period of time. ERR News reports.
Lynx on a hay bale
In the video, the lynx lies on a hay bale, remaining inconspicuous and watching its surroundings. Soon afterward, a moose calmly walked through the same open space.
The Estonian Hunters' Society called the scene interesting because two wild animals with different behavior appeared in the same field within a short interval.

Different animals
The Eurasian lynx is an apex predator in Estonia, but an adult moose is too large to be its prey. The moose, also called an elk in Europe, is a herbivorous even-toed ungulate.
As ERR News notes, the moose showed no interest in the lynx, which kept its distance.
