Another victim recovered from vessel in Indonesia — Channel NewsAsia
In Indonesia, rescuers have found another victim of the Virgo Transport 8 passenger vessel accident, which capsized and sank in the Java Sea. According to Channel NewsAsia, divers found the person while searching inside the vessel's hull.
The search continues
Indonesia's search and rescue agency said that the recovered person would be transported by air for identification. The search and evacuation operation will continue with divers and aircraft involved.

Virgo Transport 8 capsized in adverse weather on the morning of September 13 while travelling from Surabaya in East Java province to Banjarmasin in South Kalimantan province. There were 243 people on board, including 30 crew members.

As of Saturday, authorities had confirmed the deaths of nine people, more than 100 people had survived, and 126 were considered missing. Due to the large number of missing people, the operation to search for the sunken vessel was extended for another week. Authorities also said that work to return the vessel to an upright position would take time.
