A man accused of participating in protests and collaborating with the Mossad has been executed in Iran

Iran has executed Amir-Ali Mirjafari, whom the authorities identified as one of the organizers of the protests. He was also accused of setting fire to a mosque and allegedly collaborating with the Israeli intelligence agency Mossad. Independent Iranian media outlets claim that some of his confessions may have been made under duress and torture.

Iran reported the execution of a man named Amir-Ali Mirjafari, whom the official authorities link to the organization of the protests that took place in January. He was also charged with arson of a religious building and alleged collaboration with the Israeli intelligence agency “Mossad,” which Tehran traditionally classifies as particularly serious charges.

According to Iranian state agencies, Mirjafari was considered one of the individuals who could have coordinated the protest activities. He was also accused of inciting unrest and engaging in actions that, according to the investigation, posed a threat to national security.

At the same time, independent Iranian media report a different version of events and cast doubt on the voluntariness of his confessions. According to them, Mirjafari may have confessed to some of the charges under pressure and during interrogations involving violence. Tehran has not officially commented on these claims.

Such cases in Iran regularly draw international criticism, as human rights organizations have repeatedly cited the lack of transparency in trials related to protests and espionage charges. Within Iran itself, authorities insist that all verdicts are handed down strictly within the law and following due process.

Trump also expressed his willingness to meet personally with Iran’s new leadership.

U.S. President Donald Trump also announced progress in negotiations with Iran, under which Washington would allegedly receive all of Tehran’s enriched uranium without any financial payments.

Additionally, Israel agreed to a 10-day ceasefire with Lebanon and announced the start of a move toward a diplomatic settlement; however, Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu emphasized that the war against Hezbollah is not yet over and military operations will continue.

Additionally, Iran announced new rules for ships passing through the Strait of Hormuz, which is one of the world’s key oil supply routes. Commercial vessels will now be able to transit only with permission from the Islamic Revolutionary Guard Corps Navy.
