Iran has resumed production of ballistic missiles — CNN
Iran has managed to quickly resume production of ballistic missiles, attack drones, and other critical weapons systems following large-scale airstrikes by the U.S. and Israel.
CNN reported this, citing official sources in the intelligence community.
Despite earlier claims by Western allies that Tehran’s military-industrial complex had been effectively destroyed, new assessments by U.S. and Israeli intelligence indicate a rapid recovery of the Islamic Republic’s combat capabilities.
New reports from analysts indicate that Tehran is demonstrating a high capacity to adapt to critical damage and minimize the long-term consequences of the bombings.
A senior Israeli official confirmed that Iran has resumed limited production of “critically important” systems, relying on surviving components and restarting production on repaired lines or those that were not damaged.
Currently, this involves the production of new ballistic missiles, launchers, anti-aircraft missiles, and drones.
In addition, Iran is returning to use missiles and launchers that remained in tunnels blocked during hostilities.
According to U.S. officials, Iran has already “exceeded all the recovery timelines the intelligence community had projected.”
