An exhibition commemorating the victims and hostages of the October 7 attack will open in Israel

On Thursday, July 2, an exhibition titled “1,000 Memories” will open at the Beit Ariela Cultural Center on Hostage Square in Tel Aviv. The exhibition will feature, for the first time, dozens of personal items belonging to those who died and those who survived the October 7 attack.

The exhibition was organized by the “October Council” civic movement. Among the items on display are Ariel Bibas’s bicycle, paramedic Amit Man’s uniform and stethoscope, a “Maccabi Haifa” fan scarf that belonged to Lior Tarashchansky, and Shahar Matias’s guitar. Each exhibit is accompanied by a story told by relatives.

A separate section of the exhibition will be dedicated to the testimonies of people who were released from captivity. They donated personal items, including the clothing they were wearing when they were abducted and the so-called “certificates of release” issued during their captivity.

July 2 will also mark 1,000 days since the attack on the border regions. On this day, Israel has planned commemorative and protest events, including a minute of silence and a large rally in Tel Aviv. Organizers are calling on citizens to join in the day of mourning and to wear black.

This was reported by leading Israeli media outlets.

As a reminder, Israel will establish a military tribunal for those involved in the Hamas attack on October 7.

Israel announced the elimination of the commander of an elite Hezbollah unit

The day before, U.S. President Donald Trump announced significant progress in negotiations with Tehran, noting that as part of a potential agreement, Iran could transfer its highly enriched uranium to the United States.

At the same time, Trump once again repeated the threats he has been making in recent weeks: “If they agree, it’s all over; if not, we’ll bomb them.”

Official Tehran refused to participate in the second round of peace talks with the United States, which were to take place in Islamabad.
