The start of the new school year in Russia was marked by a series of armed attacks at educational institutions. On September 1 and 2 alone, there were at least three incidents in which students attacked teachers and classmates with knives or other weapons.

According to the channel, the victim was a social studies teacher who also teaches Russian language and literature.

Another attack took place on September 2 at a gymnasium in the village of Kushnarenkovo in Bashkortostan.

After the first class, a ninth-grader attacked his classmate with a knife.

The attacker was detained.

Ural Kilsenbaev, Deputy Prime Minister of Bashkortostan, stated that a conflict arose between the students due to personal differences.

The Investigative Committee has opened a criminal case for attempted murder in connection with the attack.

Another incident occurred on September 1 at School No. 2 in Kansk, Krasnoyarsk Krai.

During a festive assembly, a seventh-grader sprayed pepper spray and tried to stab a teacher.
