Video: Ice cream over 3 meters tall being transported by helicopter

The Guinness World Records published a video showing the transport of the world’s tallest ice cream cone, which was set in Norway in 2015. Due to its enormous size, the dessert—over three meters tall—had to be transported by helicopter.

The record was set by Hennig-Olsen on July 26, 2015, in Kristiansand. The unusual aerial footage has once again drawn the attention of internet users to one of the Guinness World Records’ sweetest achievements.

The mega-dessert stood 3.08 meters tall. To fill the 95.85-kg waffle cone, they used 60 kg of chocolate coating, 1,080 liters of ice cream, and 40 kg of jam.

Before the demonstration, the structure was measured in a factory freezer and then transported by helicopter to Kristiansand Harbor for participants in the Tall Ships Race. The treat was distributed to festival visitors.
