Video: A fire and an explosion occurred at an ammunition factory near Rome
In the Italian town of Colleferro, located near Rome, a fire broke out at the KNDS Ammo Italy facility, followed by an explosion. This plant manufactures medium- and large-caliber ammunition for naval and land defense, as well as solid propellant for aerospace launch systems.
According to preliminary reports, the incident occurred in the gunpowder pressing department; none of the employees or local residents were injured. Fire crews arrived at the scene, but due to the nature and danger of the facility, they were not immediately able to begin directly addressing the emergency.

In Bulgaria, authorities managed to contain a large-scale fire that broke out at the EMKO military plant in the village of Belitsa. The fire completely destroyed one of the plant’s warehouses, where explosions had been heard earlier.
