VIDEO: A bear roamed the outskirts of Przemyśl, Poland, for several hours
On the evening of June 18, a wild bear was spotted on the streets of Przemyśl, Poland. The predator roamed the city center for several hours, prompting local authorities and police to urge residents to be cautious and not approach the animal.
After an operation lasting several hours, law enforcement officers managed to safely guide the bear back into the forest. According to preliminary estimates, it was a young male. The incident resulted in no injuries.
City officials stated that they do not plan to shoot the animal, even if it reappears near the city. Residents were urged to immediately notify emergency services if the bear reappears.
