A stubborn vulture delayed the plane's departure from Crete
In Heraklion, Greece, a vulture unexpectedly caused a delay on a Ryanair flight. The bird landed on the plane’s rear wing at Nikos Kazantzakis Airport and refused to leave.
Because of the unusual “passenger,” firefighters had to be called to the plane. They carefully approached the bird and safely removed it from the aircraft.
Afterward, the plane was able to resume its preparations for departure, and airport operations were restored.
