Vucic confirmed the visit of the Ukrainian delegation and his conversation with Zelensky
The leaders discussed the upcoming visit of Ukrainian Deputy Prime Minister Taras Kachka to Serbia, scheduled for May 21, which is expected to serve as a step toward strengthening bilateral relations.
The Serbian president announced this on his Facebook page.
During the conversation, the presidents focused on issues of European integration for both countries, opportunities to deepen economic partnership, and prospects for concluding a free trade agreement. Vučić described the dialogue as open, adding that the parties separately noted the importance of mutual understanding and recognized peace and the preservation of human lives as key priority values.
Serbia is expecting a visit from a Ukrainian delegation later this week, which may be led personally by President Volodymyr Zelenskyy.
Serbian President Aleksandar Vučić stated that he will travel to China in the coming days, following visits there by U.S. President Donald Trump and Russian dictator Putin.
