WSJ: Iran has resumed ballistic missile production
According to The Wall Street Journal, Iran has resumed production of ballistic missiles, assembling them at underground facilities in different parts of the country. This was reported by The National, citing U.S. and Middle Eastern officials.
Underground facilities
According to WSJ sources, Tehran is assembling liquid-fueled missiles using stockpiled components, as well as solid-fueled missiles. Intelligence data, they said, indicate activity at several underground facilities, including the Khojir missile plant in southeastern Iran.
Officials also said that Iran is seeking to build new underground factories to avoid renewed strikes.

Pentagon statements
One of the goals of U.S. President Donald Trump’s administration during the war with Iran was to destroy Tehran’s conventional missile capabilities. In a statement to The National, the Pentagon said that U.S. forces had completed all military tasks assigned to them.
Pentagon spokesperson Sean Parnell said that U.S. Central Command intercepted thousands of Iranian drones and missiles, significantly weakened Iran’s ability to launch them, and destroyed up to 90% of its industrial base for producing drones, ballistic missiles, and naval equipment.
In April, U.S. Secretary of Defense Pete Hegseth said that Iran’s missile program had been “effectively destroyed.” At the same time, this week Iran launched a barrage of missiles at a military base in Jordan used by the U.S. military.
