Attempted Assassination of Yermolayev: German Authorities Search Apartment of Ukrainian Suspect
In Germany, law enforcement officers conducted searches at the apartment of Ukrainian national Anastasia Berezovskaya, who is wanted by Interpol as the prime suspect in the case of the attempted murder of Ukrainian businessman Yermolayev in Monaco.
According to the Frankfurt am Main Public Prosecutor’s Office and the Hesse State Criminal Police, special forces searched the woman’s residence in the Main-Taunus district, as well as the car she was using.
According to Spiegel, Berezovskaya is originally from the Luhansk region. She has been living in Germany since March 2022, where she was granted temporary protection status. After arriving in the country, she lived in a refugee center for some time.
Law enforcement officials are currently continuing their investigation into the attempted assassination of Yermolayev and are working to locate the suspect.
