Nina Dobrev and Paul Wesley will star together again in a new TV series

"The Vampire Diaries" actors Nina Dobrev and Paul Wesley will reunite on screen for a new project. They have landed the lead roles in the series "You Deserve to Know," which is being developed by the streaming service Hulu.

The series is based on the novel of the same name by author Eggie Bloom Thompson, which was published in 2025. The screenplay will be written by Brian Tannen, known for the series “Grand Hotel.”

The story revolves around three married couples from the suburbs who are neighbors and close friends. After one of the husbands is murdered, hidden secrets begin to surface, and the friendship between the characters gradually unravels.

Dobrev will play Gwen, and Wesley will play Scott. Their characters will find themselves on opposite sides of the murder investigation, which will ultimately lead to conflict between them.

In addition to their leading roles, Nina Dobrev and Paul Wesley have also become executive producers of the series.

Nina Dobrev and Paul Wesley starred together in the first six seasons of *The Vampire Diaries*. They played Elena Gilbert and Stefan Salvatore, who were originally a couple. Wesley remained on the show until the end of the eighth season, while Dobrev returned only for the final episode.
