Slava Dyomin explained his departure from Ukraine following a photo taken in Warsaw

Ukrainian TV host and journalist Slava Dyomin explained why he had traveled abroad after a photo of him at Warsaw Airport appeared online.

The day before, the 41-year-old entertainer announced on Instagram that he was going on vacation but did not reveal his location. Later, a photo of Dyomin at Warsaw Airport was posted on Threads.

This sparked discussion on social media, particularly regarding how a man of draft age crossed the state border during a full-scale war.

Dyomin stated that he has had the right to leave Ukraine since 2022. According to him, he crossed the border, in particular, to seek volunteer assistance. The host also emphasized that he does not plan to leave Ukraine.

“I’ve been able to leave since 2022. I’ve traveled abroad to seek volunteer assistance, among other reasons. I’ve spoken about this several times. I have no intention of fleeing the country. I’ll be back soon. I don’t think it’s right to publicize trips abroad at a time like this. I don’t wear dark sunglasses or caps, and I’m not hiding,” Dyomin noted.

He added that he does not think it is right to publicly showcase his trips abroad during the war. At the same time, he stated that he is not trying to hide.

This was reported by UNIAN Lite.

As a reminder, Ukrainian TV host Slava Dyomin said that his car was damaged as a result of Russian shelling. Because of this, he had to sell the car—which he had planned to sell—for half the expected price.

Ukrainian singer Oleksandr Ponomariov celebrates his 53rd birthday on August 9. On his birthday, the artist decided to reveal one of his biggest secrets to his fans—he wrote a novel about artificial intelligence.
