Video: Tom Cruise Grossly Violated Royal Protocol During a Meeting with Kate Middleton

At the same time, Tom Cruise shook Prince William’s hand but did not greet Kate Middleton. Eventually, the Hollywood actor decided to take the initiative and approached the princess on his own, took her hands, and kissed her on both cheeks, which Kate Middleton reciprocated. After that, the actor took the princess by the hands, exchanged a few words with her, and then continued talking with Prince William.

Such behavior constitutes a breach of royal protocol, as no outsider has the right to be the first to touch members of the royal family. Only a member of the royal family may take the initiative first. However, neither Kate Middleton nor Prince William appeared upset.
