Singer Celine Dion performs at Paris Fashion Week — Asharq Al-Awsat

Canadian singer Celine Dion unexpectedly performed at Paris Fashion Week in France, singing I'm Alive on a runway near the Eiffel Tower. The artist appeared at the end of the annual show by cosmetics group L’Oréal, held on September 28 at Place Joffre.

Dion took to the runway in a black dress to applause from the audience. The singer performed her 2002 hit, after which L’Oréal ambassadors Viola Davis, Simone Ashley, Aja Naomi King and Eva Longoria joined her.

Asharq Al-Awsat reported on the artist's performance at the opening of Fashion Week. The L’Oréal event was called Express Your Worth.

Concerts in the French capital

The publication also noted that the Quebec native recently returned to the stage with a series of 26 concerts in Paris. Sixteen performances are scheduled for September and October, with another 10 planned for May 2027.

Paris Fashion Week, dedicated to women's spring-summer collections, will run until October 6. Dior, Tom Ford, Schiaparelli and Givenchy are yet to present their new collections.
