Power outages will return to Ukraine on April 13

Tomorrow, April 13, power consumption restrictions for industry will be imposed throughout Ukraine. According to the latest data, the power restriction schedules will be in effect from 4:00 p.m. to midnight.

Ukrenergo cited severe damage to energy infrastructure caused by systematic missile and drone attacks from Russia as the reason for this measure. This has led to a shortage of generating capacity, which is most acute during the evening peak in consumption.

How to support the power grid:

• Minimize the use of energy-intensive appliances (washing machines, water heaters, electric ovens) during the evening hours.

• Turn off unnecessary lighting and devices you are not currently using.

• If possible, run high-power equipment during nighttime hours.

Energy officials emphasize that the situation remains fluid.
