Power outages are returning to Ukraine on April 3

Tomorrow, April 3, Ukrainians will once again face scheduled power outages. The power will not be cut off for the entire day, but according to a schedule—from morning until evening. The reason is the aftermath of rocket and drone attacks on energy infrastructure. This was reported by Ukrenergo on Telegram.

In all regions of Ukraine on April 3, from 6:00 a.m. to 10:00 p.m., power restrictions will be in effect for industrial enterprises. For residential consumers, outages are scheduled on an hourly basis from 7:00 a.m. to 11:00 a.m.

“The reason for the restrictions is the impact of Russian missile and drone attacks on energy facilities,” Ukrenergo explained. The company urges Ukrainians to use electricity sparingly, especially during scheduled outages. This helps stabilize the grid and ensure that as many people as possible have access to electricity.

According to Ukrenergo, the hourly blackout schedules will currently be in effect during the morning hours, and power will be available the rest of the time, though adjustments may be made if necessary. Ukrainians are advised to prepare in advance for temporary outages, charge essential devices, and plan the use of household appliances. “When power is available according to the schedule, try to use electricity sparingly,” the company emphasized.

Additionally, the government has updated the Traffic Rules, clarifying regulations for freight transport.

The Cabinet of Ministers adopted a resolution increasing fines for unauthorized parking in spaces designated for drivers with disabilities to 300 non-taxable minimum incomes—5,100 hryvnias.
