July 31 is the deadline for certain categories of the population to register with the TCC
Today, July 31, marks the deadline for some young men to register for military service remotely via the “Reserve+” app. After this date, it will no longer be possible to register without visiting a territorial recruitment and social support center in person.
In Ukraine, young men are required to register for military service in the year they turn 17. For those born in 2009, there are several options for registration:
- through July 31—online via the “Reserve+” app;
- after July 31 and until turning 18—in person at the Territorial Center for Recruitment and Social Support (TCRS) at their place of residence;
- after turning 18—automatically based on data from the State Migration Service of Ukraine or independently via “Reserve+.”
To use the online service, you must:
- install or update the “Reserve+” app to the latest version;
- log in via BankID and select the “Register” service;
- check the information on the screen and click “Register”;
- wait for the request to be processed automatically.
After successfully registering for military service, a Reserve ID with the status “Conscript” will appear in the app.
The Ministry of Defense emphasizes that after July 31, this option will no longer be available to 17-year-olds.
If a young man does not register for military service before reaching the age of majority, he may be automatically registered upon turning 18. He will also be able to do this on his own through “Reserve+.”
In this case:
- the necessary data will be pulled from the State Migration Service’s registries;
- there is no need to visit the Territorial Military Registration and Enlistment Office (TCK) or the Military Registration and Enlistment Office (SP) in person;
- there is no need to undergo a military medical examination;
- the system will automatically assign a TCC and SP based on the registered or declared place of residence.
However, you will not receive a separate notification regarding your automatic registration for military service, so you must check your status yourself.
You can check whether you have been registered for military service in the “Reserve+” app.
To do this, you need to:
- install or update the app;
- log in via BankID;
- confirm or update your current contact information.
If you have already been registered for military service, the app will display your military registration document—the Reserve ID—with the status “Conscript.”
If you haven’t been registered yet, you’ll see the status “Not Registered.”
The “Not Registered” status means that military registration has not yet taken place.
In this case, you need to log in to “Reserve+,” select the “Register” service, verify your information, confirm the request, and wait for it to be processed automatically.
If the status does not change after this or if you encounter problems with military registration, the Ministry of Defense recommends contacting the Territorial Military Registration and Enlistment Office (TCK) and the Specialized Department (SP).
As a reminder, law enforcement officials in the Odesa region uncovered the organizer of an illegal scheme to smuggle conscripts abroad. According to police, 147 men were being smuggled out of the country under the guise of sailors.
The Security Service of Ukraine and the National Police have uncovered nine new schemes to evade mobilization in various regions of the country. As part of special operations, 23 organizers of these schemes were detained; they had been helping men subject to military service avoid conscription or illegally leave the country in exchange for money.
