Some of the missiles for Ukraine's Patriot systems will be manufactured in Germany — Palisa
Some of the PAC-2 GEM-T interceptor missiles for Ukraine’s Patriot air defense systems will be manufactured at a new facility in Germany.
This was announced by Pavlo Palisa, Deputy Head of the Office of the President.
According to him, this issue was discussed with a delegation from RTX Corporation. The discussion also covered accelerating missile deliveries, repairing damaged Patriot systems, and the possibility of servicing some of their components in Ukraine.
Palisa noted that the main task now is to speed up deliveries so that Ukraine can receive the necessary missiles for air defense more quickly.
Ukraine is facing a shortage of missiles for key air defense systems, including Patriot, NASAMS, and IRIS-T. As a result, some launchers in military units remain understaffed.
Ukraine held another round of talks with a delegation from the American defense corporation RTX regarding critical needs in the field of air defense.
