A member of a village council in Zhytomyr region failed to declare 46 million hryvnias

A member of the village council in the Berdychiv district has been notified of charges of making false declarations.

This was reported by the NACP.

According to an audit of declarations for 2022–2024, the official failed to report assets and income totaling over 46 million hryvnias.

Specifically, he concealed income of unknown origin totaling over 5.8 million hryvnias and financial obligations exceeding 23 million hryvnias.

He also failed to declare corporate rights worth over 5.7 million hryvnias and a land plot.

Furthermore, the declarations lack information regarding income from business activities and other sources of income.

He is charged with intentionally providing false information in his declaration.

The investigation is being conducted by the National Police under the procedural supervision of the prosecutor’s office.

Earlier, Ihor Ilchenko, acting head of the National Social Service of Ukraine, reported 18,223 UAH in income in his 2025 electronic declaration.

Serhiy Tyurin, head of the Khmelnytskyi Regional Military Administration, has published his 2025 declaration. The main changes include an increase in salary and the absence from the declaration of a Kyiv apartment previously used by his son Danylo.
