Russian forces attacked the Yampil community in Sumy Oblast using guided aerial bombs. The strike damaged civilian infrastructure.
Among the damaged structures are a kindergarten and residential buildings. The extent of the damage and the consequences of the attack are currently being assessed.
This was reported on Telegram by Oleg Grigorov, head of the Sumy Regional Military Administration.

"Information about casualties and the extent of the damage is being clarified," the Regional State Administration added.
Russia has lost another 810 soldiers and 26 artillery systems in the war against Ukraine.
Russian troops continue offensive operations on several fronts simultaneously, attempting to create so-called “buffer zones” and advance deeper into Ukrainian territory. In the Kharkiv region, the occupiers are employing new tactical approaches.
Since the start of the day, Russian troops have attacked the positions of the Ukrainian Defense Forces 62 times.
Commander-in-Chief of the Armed Forces of Ukraine Oleksandr Syrskyi instructed the commanders of groupings and corps stationed on the front line to conduct an inspection of the organization of logistical support for the troops by May 20.
Military analysts report that Russian occupiers are advancing in the Kupiansk district of the Kharkiv region.
