Dmitriev is not holding talks on Ukraine in the U.S. — Peskov
Kirill Dmitriev, a special representative of the Russian dictator, is not holding talks on Ukraine during his visit to the United States.
This was stated by Kremlin spokesperson Dmitry Peskov.
According to him, Dmitriev is in the U.S. as the head of a group on economic cooperation.
The Kremlin emphasized that his trip is not related to the Ukrainian settlement and does not signify a resumption of the negotiation process.
Additionally, Russian dictator Vladimir Putin announced a temporary cessation of hostilities on the front lines, effective from 4:00 p.m. Moscow time on April 11 until the end of the day on April 12, 2026.
Zelenskyy proposed an energy ceasefire brokered by the U.S.
President Volodymyr Zelenskyy stated that if Russia ceases its attacks on Ukraine’s energy infrastructure, Ukraine will respond in kind. At the same time, he expressed doubt regarding the possibility of Russia announcing a general mobilization in the near future, noting that he does not have complete information on this matter.
