Energoatom has announced an international competition for the position of chairman of the board
The Supervisory Board of NAEK Energoatom, from which two independent members resigned in succession in May, has announced an international competition for the position of chairman of the company’s board.
The company states that it is seeking a candidate with an impeccable professional reputation and experience managing large strategic enterprises.
The selection process will take the form of an open international competition involving professional recruiters.
The Supervisory Board has engaged Korn Ferry and Odgers—international recruitment firms—to oversee the selection process, specifically responsible for:
- searching for candidates
- assessing management and leadership competencies
- supporting the competition at all stages
The announcement of the competition came amid personnel changes on the supervisory board, from which two independent members left in succession in May, effectively accelerating the process of restarting the company’s management model.
This was reported by the press service of the Ministry of Economy.
Earlier, NAEK Energoatom officially received a license to operate a nuclear facility. On May 28, the company was issued a license to operate the Centralized Spent Fuel Storage Facility (CSFSF), allowing it to begin full-scale operations in accordance with safety requirements.
NAEK Energoatom reported that it is nearing the midpoint of the scheduled maintenance campaign at Ukrainian nuclear power plants.
