Yermak discussed the heads of NABU and SAPO with a "fortune-teller"

During the court hearing in the case of former Head of the President’s Office Andriy Yermak, the prosecution disclosed details of his correspondence with a contact listed in his phone as “Veronika Fengshui Office.”

This was reported in the courtroom.

According to the prosecutor from the Specialized Anti-Corruption Prosecutor’s Office (SAPO), the individual in question is Anikievich Veronika Fedorivna, with whom, according to the investigation, Yermak coordinated personnel appointments.

The prosecution stated that Anikievich had a separate phone for communicating with Yermak. It was previously reported that she was listed in the former head of the Presidential Office’s contacts as “Veronika Feng Shui Office.”

According to prosecutors, on December 24, 2025, Yermak sent his interlocutor a message containing the names of the heads of anti-corruption agencies—NABU Director Semen Klymenko and SAPO Head Oleksandr Kryvonos.

In response, according to the investigation, Anikievich wrote:

“I’m very angry today. So I apologize in advance for being harsh. But on the other hand, my harshness will put you on a different wavelength. Over the past few months, you haven’t escalated the situation and haven’t responded to the attacks. You are both being psychologically tormented. The situation is getting worse, but you remain silent. What needs to happen for you to start acting? When they finish with you, they’ll start on him. If you continue with the ostrich strategy, that’s exactly what will happen. The situation is such that it’s either you or them.”

After that, according to the prosecution, Yermak replied:

“Fiala, Ukrainska Pravda, Tkach, Musaeva, Zheleznyak, Arakhamia, Goncharenko. I’m ready for anything. I’m ready tomorrow.”

The case materials also included another message from Veronika Anikievich:

“You’re worried now about the documents and the arrest. It’s unpleasant, but right now you don’t have any serious evidence. After that, you’ll have the moral and legal right to destroy them. But if they come to power, they’ll act more seriously, and there won’t be a friend to vouch for you or broad powers. The best thing would be if you manage to leave the country. Think about this. And about the fact that if you were to go back a month or two, you would have acted completely differently.”

So far, there has been no official reaction from Andriy Yermak or his defense team regarding the published correspondence.

Former Head of the President’s Office Andriy Yermak stated during the court hearing that he is interested in a transparent and impartial consideration of the case.

On the evening of May 11, after receiving a notice of suspicion from the Specialized Anti-Corruption Prosecutor’s Office, former Head of the Office of the President of Ukraine Andriy Yermak stated that he would not comment on anything during the investigation.
