France and Poland are preparing joint nuclear exercises on NATO's eastern flank

France and Poland plan to conduct joint exercises focusing on nuclear deterrence on NATO’s eastern flank.

This was reported by Wirtualna Polska.

The exercises are scheduled to take place over the Baltic Sea and in northern Poland. French Rafale fighter jets and the Polish Air Force are expected to participate.

According to sources in the Polish military, Polish pilots will carry out long-range reconnaissance, target tracking, and strikes with conventional weapons, including JASSM-ER missiles.

The French side, in turn, will practice scenarios involving the use of nuclear warheads in a simulated format. Rafale aircraft will fly from France to a hypothetical line between Budapest and Kaliningrad and will practice “strikes” on targets in Russia and Belarus.

According to sources, these exercises are part of a broader European nuclear deterrence initiative being promoted by Paris. A key feature of the project is said to be reduced reliance on NATO’s bureaucratic procedures, which will allow for faster defense decision-making in the event of threats.

As a reminder, asylum seekers whom the UK forcibly deported to France under a bilateral agreement are re-entering British territory via trucks.

Iranian citizens fleeing the regime due to U.S. strikes have arrived at the Calais Jungle camp in France with the intention of crossing the English Channel and staying in the UK. They warn that many more people are preparing to flee due to the escalation of the conflict.
