Iran has announced "surprises" for the U.S. and Israel in the coming days

Iran has announced "surprises" for the U.S. and Israel in the coming days

Iran's state-run Tasnim News Agency reported on preparations for new military operations, the results of which Tehran describes as significant and evident.

According to military sources in the Islamic Republic, the planned actions are intended to demonstrate the weakness of the U.S. defense sector and Washington’s lack of capacity for military victory. The agency’s sources advised Donald Trump to keep an eye on the skies, stock markets, and oil prices, hinting at possible strikes on critical infrastructure.

These threats were made on March 23, 2026, against the backdrop of the U.S. president’s belief that the war in the region is nearing its end. The Iranian side claims that American ammunition is in poor condition and that opening the Strait of Hormuz by military means is impossible for the U.S. Tehran’s statements are heightening tensions in the Persian Gulf, where major energy facilities in the UAE and Qatar have recently been hit by Iranian drone attacks.

The escalation in the Middle East is occurring simultaneously with new security challenges in Europe, particularly due to the crash of a drone in Lithuania near the border with Belarus. While Iran prepares “surprises,” Ukraine is presenting a strategy in Brussels to protect its power grid from Russian aggression, and the Armed Forces continue to destroy Russian radar stations and air defense systems. Global instability is forcing the world’s leading nations to review their defense budgets, a point Trump emphasizes as he justifies the need to allocate $200 billion for U.S. military needs.

Recall that the U.S. and Israel have different goals in the war with Iran.

Israel also bombed a port from which Iran was supplying weapons to Russia.
