A Russian citizen was deported from the Vinnytsia region

Police in Vinnytsia Oblast have initiated the forced deportation of a Russian citizen, followed by a five-year ban on entry into Ukraine.

This was reported by the Main Directorate of the National Police in Vinnytsia Oblast.

According to law enforcement officials, the foreign national was in Ukraine in violation of the legislation governing the legal status of foreigners—without valid grounds for continued stay.

After the violations were discovered, the migration service decided to return him to the Russian Federation; however, the man did not comply with the order and did not leave Ukraine by the set deadline.

As a result, on April 15, the migration police initiated the procedure for forced expulsion. Currently, the Russian citizen has been taken to a temporary detention center for foreigners pending deportation.

As a reminder, an independent UN commission presented a report at the 61st session of the Human Rights Council on March 10, 2026, in which the forced relocation of Ukrainian children to the Russian Federation was recognized as a crime against humanity.

As a reminder, Ukraine has already repatriated 1,744 children abducted by Russia from the Russian Federation and temporarily occupied territories. The war that Russia is waging against Ukraine is a war against children, a deliberate and ruthless attack on the most vulnerable.

Melania Trump receiveda letter from Putin regarding Ukrainian children.
