Cyprus to Join Special Tribunal on Russia — Coalition Now Includes 29 Countries

Cyprus has become the latest country to plan to join the agreement establishing a Special Tribunal on Russia’s crime of aggression against Ukraine.

Foreign Minister Andriy Sibiga announced this in Kyiv.

According to him, 29 countries already support the formation of a coalition and efforts to create an international mechanism to hold Russia accountable for its aggression against Ukraine.

He emphasized that the number of countries ready to support an international tribunal for Russia’s crime of aggression against Ukraine has risen to 29.

"This is a powerful impetus for justice. We will hold those guilty of the crime of aggression against Ukraine accountable. I call on all states, both in Europe and in other regions, to join this historic initiative. This is a matter of principle," the post reads. 

Greecehas sent two frigates and fighter jets to Cyprus for protection against Iran.

Additionally, Qatar reported strikes on energy facilities.

An oil tanker was attacked off the coast of Oman.

Israel has suspended operations at the Leviathan gas field.

Pakistan and Afghanistan continue to exchange military strikes.
