The "Informatika" municipal enterprise of the Kyiv City State Administration facilitated the illegal surveillance of NABU detectives who were investigating the high-profile "Midas" case.
This was officially stated by Kyiv City Council member Vika Ptashnyk during the session on May 14.
The disclosed facts point to possible abuse of official position and the use of city resources to obstruct anti-corruption agencies.
The leadership of the relevant department of the city government responded promptly to the public allegations.
The director of the Department of Information and Communication Technologies, Itskovich, effectively confirmed that this is true, but also reported on cooperation with the NABU investigation regarding this matter.
Currently, city officials are providing the necessary explanations and granting access to internal documentation.
