Nine people were injured in the Sumy region over the past 24 hours as a result of Russian attacks
Over the past 24 hours, on July 9, Russian troops continued shelling the Sumy region. Nine civilians were wounded as a result of the enemy attacks, according to local authorities.
The Sumy Regional Police reported this on Facebook.
In the Sumy community, two men, aged 43 and 50, were injured in a Russian drone attack. A multi-unit residential building, a private home, a store, two passenger cars, outbuildings, and a critical infrastructure facility were damaged.
In the Bilopil community, a 65-year-old man was injured when a drone struck his car. A shopping center and a non-residential building were damaged.

In the Bereziv community, a 30-year-old woman was injured when a Russian drone struck her.
In the Putivl community, a 66-year-old man and a 56-year-old woman were injured as a result of a UAV attack.

️In the Shostka community, a 36-year-old man was injured when a drone struck a car.
In the Popivka community, an 86-year-old man and a 51-year-old woman were injured by a drone strike.
️Investigators have opened criminal cases under Article 438 of the Criminal Code of Ukraine (war crimes) for each of these incidents, the police added.

On the night of July 10, Russian troops attacked the town of Valky in the Bohodukhiv district of Kharkiv region with strike drones. A 50-year-old woman was killed and four other people were injured as a result of the enemy strike, local authorities and law enforcement officials reported.
As a reminder, a Russian strike destroyedthe office of a Kyiv-based children’s book publisher.
Russian troops struck Kharkiv and the surrounding region; four children were among the injured.
In the Odesa region, a fire broke out at a factory following a Russian attack.
