Nearly 40% of votes have been counted in the Hungarian election: who is in the lead
With 37.04% of the votes counted in Hungary’s parliamentary elections, Péter Magyar’s opposition party has taken the lead. His supporters in central Budapest are already celebrating the victory.
This was reported by the National Election Office of Hungary.

At this point, out of 199 seats in the Hungarian parliament, Tisza can count on 132, which is nearly a constitutional majority (133).
Viktor Orbán’s Fidesz is currently in second place with 69 seats.
"Our Homeland" is projected to win 8 seats.
As a reminder, for the first time in many years, the opposition in Hungary has a chance to defeat Orbán.
The opposition party Tisa has a chance to win two-thirds of the seats in the Hungarian Parliament in the April 12 elections, which would allow it to amend the constitution and key laws.
