Meanwhile, the Israeli side has not officially commented on the overnight strikes, remaining silent amid new accusations. Hezbollah stated that it reserves the right to respond to any further attacks, emphasizing that Israel’s actions have not ceased even after the ceasefire was declared. The group’s statement emphasizes that it views the situation as a violation of the agreements and is prepared to respond.
According to international media reports, U.S. and regional officials had announced the day before the launch of a ceasefire intended to ease tensions along Lebanon’s southern border. However, the Israeli military had previously stated that it reserves the right to “operational freedom of action” in the event of threats, which effectively leaves room for further strikes.
