Russia launched a massive attack on the Odesa region; one drone struck a bus stop
On the evening of March 23, 2026, the Russian army attacked the Odesa region with drones, injuring two people.
According to Oleg Kipper, head of the Odessa Regional State Administration, one of the drones struck a public transportation stop in the Odessa district. An 18-year-old woman and a 51-year-old man sustained moderate injuries and are currently receiving necessary medical care.
In addition to the casualties, damage to the region’s transportation and energy infrastructure has been reported. Emergency services are working at the sites of the strikes, and efforts to address the consequences of the enemy attacks are ongoing. This attack confirmed President Volodymyr Zelenskyy’s warning, who earlier in an evening address reported intelligence data regarding Russia’s preparations for massive shelling.
As a reminder, Russian troops attacked a residential area in Zaporizhzhia: there is destruction and people have been injured.
The Russians also attacked four Ukrposhta branches; employees were injured.
In Znam’yanka, Kirovohrad Oblast, 20 residential buildings were damaged as a result of a Russian drone attack.
