Russia struck railway infrastructure in the Poltava region — there are casualties
In the Poltava district, rescue workers extinguished a fire that broke out following a Russian strike on a railway infrastructure facility.
Two people were injured as a result of the attack. Units of the State Emergency Service (SES) responded at the scene, quickly extinguishing the fire and clearing up the aftermath of the shelling. The circumstances of the attack and the extent of the damage are being investigated.
Russian troops struck the Poltava district on July 7. The attack caused a fire in one of the buildings of the railway infrastructure facility. According to the State Emergency Service, two people were injured.
Rescue workers extinguished the blaze. Personnel and equipment from the Poltava garrison of the State Emergency Service were deployed to fight the fire.

As a reminder, seven people were killed as a result of a massive strike on Kyiv.
Earlier, Zelenskyy warned that Russia was preparing a new massive strike.
As a reminder, the Russians last launched a massive attack on Ukraine on the night of July 2. At that time, Russian forces launched 496 UAVs of various types and 74 missiles—air-, ground-, and sea-based—of various types at Ukraine.
